The downtown Athens law office of
Timmons Warnes & Anderson was
desperately in need of a facelift--both
inside and out. The long, narrow,
100-year-old structure had areas of
original wood floors, old brick walls, wide
beams supporting a second floor, and a
rabbit warren of tiny office spaces
re-adjusted over time to fit a growing
practice and a non-descript facade.The
space was transformed into an open,
organized space. The result is a
juxtaposition of modern efficiency and
historic architectural features.
When replaced by steel, those wide solid
beams found new life as wide floor planks

From a kitchen small and crowded ...
