Residential Project Portfolio
With design expertise, even new additions can blend
seamlessly with existing structures, and researching
fixtures and finishes is just a part of the job!
This vintage bath
and laundry suite are
additions to a
1940's-era home, so
the style of the
addition blends well
with the existing
features of the
home...with subway
tile, hex tiles with a
custom pattern, and
a cool glass block
shower...and elegant
cherry!
The homeowners already knew
what they wanted...and we helped
them create it.  Including the client
is an important element of our
business philosophy!
Computer aided design created by Lessard
Design Associates...fromfloor plans to lighting
plans to elevations to full-color renderings.  You
can see your project before it even begins!
This small back porch gave way to a large
pool--a collaborative effort of the homeowners,
the landscape architect, the contractor, and
Lessard Design Associates.
Purchased for
$1.00 (plus
$7,000 for
moving), this
cottage has
been
transformed
back to its
original finish
and turned into
an open,
inviting living
space.
It was difficult to see
the potential in this
pine-construction
cottage...but it was
revealed in a new
paint color and wide
porch posts . . . . . .
Before, this kitchen was small and cluttered
with too many cabinets, which hid the natural
pine plank walls. Then the cabinets and
wallboard were removed, exposing beautiful
heart pine plank walls, and the repainted
stove and the modern track lighting made the
transformation complete!
The kitchen's transformation included a
cooler paint and cool lighting!
Replacing
loud and
dated
wallpaper
and removing
matching
drapery with
a soft paint
color and
loud and
simple dated
shutters
made a
dramatic
difference in
the look and
comfort of
this master
bedroom.
The counter-high farm table is a
bonus addiion to an already
user-friendly kitchen!
... a pub
complete with a
recessed
refrigerator...
With only five feet of width
under the roof of this
mountain cottage, the
challenge was opening the
narrow bathroom...the
answer, mirrors!
... a game and music hall, complete with stage..
LDA provided a plan to convert a dark, unfinished
basement into a fun playspace for the entire family.
... and a well-lit "center court" as an anchor for the
other areas that branch off from it.
An older kitchen lives in the same footprint but
with larger windows, modern appliances, and a
colorful rug.
